The idea for studio quality sound at concert/club events came about a
decade and a half ago when our founder eng. Emilov developed his first concert systems (widely used in rental events and installations in Europe). But at this time the tools for fine-tuning of the sound systems were very primitive. This leads to a wide research and based on that PhD thesis for controlling and optimizing loudspeaker and crossover behavior using a combination of IIR and FIR digital filters. Also a series of simulations of various types of loudspeaker enclosures, including horns, bandpass and conventional reflex systems were done, upgrading the existing models to a level hardly matched by any other manufacturer.
